A bit better than the iphone earbuds
Review date: 2010-09-09 Rating: 8 out of 10
You get a little bass gain with these.
The noise canceling is very little, don't consider this if you're mostly on a noisy environment.
Confortable enough even for a guy with a smaller head, fully adjustable.
Leather couching so expect to sweat around your ears.

Ideal!Review date: 2010-09-09 Rating: 10 out of 10My search for headphones was an unusual one as they were for my 7 year old son who has to wear one hearing aid in his left ear. My dilema being that we had been advised that he shouldn't use in-the-ear headphones as this could cause more damage long term so I needed some comfortable headphones that would sit neatly over his hearing aid.....these are PERFECT. Infact my husband has just come home and is now very jealous of his son's new headphones and even more so when I told him the price. I'm guessing we will be buying a second pair. The sound quality I have been informed by hubby is very good. For my son they also block out external noise quiet well and we have put a volume lock on his ipod so it isn't too loud and therefore won't cause any long term damage to his good ear. He is also using them to play his Dsi. A very good buy!
good but not amazing~valueReview date: 2010-09-07 Rating: 8 out of 10this headphones is good ,but not amazing one. but for its cheap prices, the performance of this headphones is acceptable.

i feel a little hot waring this headphones long time, and my ear feel uncomfortable wearing long time. but short time is OK.
Its a good productReview date: 2010-09-06 Rating: 10 out of 10I bought it for my brother 2 weeks ago and he likes them. The good thing is that the cord is long and the sound is pretty good.Overall, considering the price its a good set of headphones. From Black and White, to ColorReview date: 2010-09-05 Rating: 10 out of 10Over the past few years I had become accustomed to the white iPod earphones and generally thought that they were pretty good. That is until I received these.
I spent a fair amount of time searching for a replacement for my iPod earphones after they developed a nasty distortion at higher volumes, and eventually came across the Sennheiser brand but more specifically these HD201's. I had heard all of the good talk about Sennheiser and after seeing the price and good reviews of the 201's I decided to part with my cash.
I am no audiophile (yet) so I cannot go into detailed depths about the sound quality, but going from iPod earphones to these is the same as going from black and white to colour. They open up a whole new world to my music that I has no idea was even there, you can hear subtle nuances in the music that are not possible to hear with ipod earphones. A good example is that you can actually hear the natural decay of the instruments, this gives the music tremendous presence and immerses you. I use these with my vintage hi fi gear and my ipod, the impedance is low (32 Ohms I think) so your portable gear wont have an issue driving these.
The bass is understated and not in your face, so bass junkies will want to look elsewhere, these offer a more true, natural sound.
Build quality and comfort is very good for the price, I wear glasses and have no discomfort issues even after a four hour session. I have dropped these countless times (including down a flight of stairs) and they still work great. The only criticism that I have is that the Sennheiser logo on the top got scratched off easily, but I am really nitpicking here.
And the best part, these are half the price of the iPod earphones and an order of magnitude better.
