The 5 star rating if more so for the price, eco-friendly packaging than audio quality. While these are head-and-shoulders above free earphones they aren't the most solid product I've used. The right earphone/driver died after a yer's use and the left side's wire seemed to start cracking.
It's a shame about the build quality as these are otherwise uite good. It should be noted though, they have a warm, bassy sound. If you like a precise or balanced sound these aren't for you.

The bass is deep, powerful and sounds amazing.
The mids and highs are also great.
They cut out almost all background noise when fitted correctly, and as they come with different sized buds fitting is quick and simple.
The rubbarized cable feels nice and adds to the overall "quality" sennheiser feel these have to them, and i also like the asymetric cable design.
Eco-friendly packaging for the tree-huggers out there... :)
The only tiny flaws i can find with them is that:
1) Quite easy to hear the cable being bashed about if you are running/doing sport with them.
2) They don't go to particularly high volumes, but certainly high enough for most people.

I however found the white headphones to not be as good a build quality as the black headphones. The rubber on the wires degrades over time and becomes tangled easily. This is not great for sticking in your pocket!
These headphones are good though, the sound quality is great especially for the price! The looks are also good and the sound blocking aspect is great, although don't expect to be able to hold conversations with them on!
There is one problem though.. The CX300-II's are out! Cheaper than this and SO much better. Grab the CX300-II's for better sound and much better build quality. A very good purchase decision to replace the original Apple iPod supplied set. For the money, I doubt if you could find anything better in terms of comfort (I wear mine for at least 8 hrs a day!), both sound quality and depth of sound.
The other feature, worth mentioning, is that the jack-plug interface has a more horizontal rather than vertical cable feed which should allow for extended longevity vis a vie the durability of the cable integrity which, is why the Apple iPod HeadPhones failed in the first place.
