Tras leer las excelentes críticas que puedes encontrar en Internet sobre este dock, decidí comprarlo. Las expectativas eran muy altas tras todo lo leído sobre la calidad de audio del PURE FI 2. Tras recibirlo y probarlo no pude estar más decepcionado. El sonido, siendo aceptable, está muy lejos de ser "calidad de audio excepcional" como se puede leer en las numerosas reviews que están disponibles en Internet.
Los bajos son débiles y huecos. Los medios son poco definidos. Y los agudos podrían ser pasables teniendo en cuenta su precio.
El sonido en conjunto es de lo más artificial, sin presencia, sin musicalidad, sin cuerpo. Afortunadamente en Amazon el pecio está reducido a 95 pero puede encontrarse en las tiendas por 149. Por 149 es un robo. En ese rango de precios se pueden encontrar mejores alternativas.
En la parte positiva resaltaría que tiene potencia suficiente y aguanta bien sin distorsionar a volúmenes altos. Funciona con baterías y es portátil. Además se acompaña de una funda para su transporte, todo un detalle que otros fabricantes obvian.
En resumen: Si buscas calidad de audio, este no es tu dock. Pero si buscas un dock portátil con un sonido medianamente aceptable, el PURE FI 2 es una buena opción siempre que no pagues mas de 100 por él.

This is a really smart, convenient and elegant unit but from a personal point of view the maximum volume attainable is quite disappointing. There's a trade-off here I suppose between battery operated convenience, lightweight portability and ultimate power output. I was never particularly concerned about battery operation but was more attracted by the compactness; now I wish I had bought something mains operated and slightly bigger. For roughly the same money you can get some real blasters. I know this is all subjective and depends entirely on just how loud anyone really wants their music but overall I would say that it's OK for a small to medium sized room but no good for a large room with a crowd of people in it assuming you're wanting to really wind things up with some hard driving rock music; which you're probably not, so go ahead and buy it!
Just an afterthought; I have a Black iPod Nano 5th Generation but Logitech do not provide a docking adapter for this. You have to use the Universal Adapter supplied by Apple with your new iPod 5thG. The only disappointing thing is my iPod is black and the Logitech is black but Apple perversely supply the adapter in white which rather spoils the smart overall look of an otherwise all black system.Excellent Quality and Brilliant Sound!!!Review date: 2010-08-08 Rating: 10 out of 10I bought these Logitech Pure-Fi Anywhere v2) for iPod and iPhone in Black because they came recommended by a friend. They were dispatched very quickly and they are of excellent quality.
The remote control does work with an iPhone as well as an iPod, which is a bonus. The travel case fits the speaker unit as well as the power lead which makes is a nice simple package to transport.
As other reviewers have pointed out, the speakers loose their edge when playing classical music, but when you bear in mind that these are essentially travel speakers then you can overlook that. For extensive classical music listening you are better off using your main stereo system.
In short, well worth the money!
