Why bother with anything else. Connects easily, works great, an I-Pod doc without speakers or radio, just what I needed. It is neat and tidy.

The Apple Dock has the advantage of allowing connection to your computer, but when it comes to connecting your iPod to your stereo it is rendered practically useless since it doesn't allow menu navigation. This Pure i-10 seems to do the trick though....
Audio quality on the Pure i-10 is quite reasonable, the base has a solid feel and looks good. Most importantly, the remote works responsively and as you'd expect - i.e. it allows you to navigate the iPod menu!
It comes with a power cable so that your iPod will charge when docked and also a 3.5mm Jack lead with a 3.5mm plug on either end. If your stero has RCA or 5-PIN din sockets, you will need to buy a separate lead.
My only gripes are
- if you have a large library, navigating through it from A-Z using the remote can be a bit tedious.
- A digital audio out which would let your home stereo do the digital to analogue conversion would be nice.

I have it now for over a month and I cant find anything wrong with its working. sound quality is good, and it does more than what Apple's own product does ( Apples own product does not let you change the playlist / operate menu from the remote, this product does so.) - and its cheaper as well.... what else could you ask for.
Downsides - the dock adaptors it comes with are a bit wrongly labelled, and dont work with my iphone 3gs/ ipod nano - 3rd gen. - video version. - but actually , you dont need these dock adaptors, I am using mine without any adaptors.
Iphone 3gs - doesnt charge with this product ( says this accessory is not compatible with iphone) - it will play music though. The way around this is to buy an adaptor -from apple store - which connects between iphone 3gs and the dock and lets you charge it at the same time.
all around, nice equipment, I prefer this to apple's own product ( although I am an apple follower!!!!!)
